Digital purchase policy

What you receive
Purchases are attached to the signed-in FledgePoint account for one named biologist. The checkout page identifies the tools, price and access period. Crew training, company records and project setup are separate.
Individual Tool License
Before a new purchase, you must agree to the Individual Tool License. Do not share your login or redistribute the licensed tool. You may use it professionally and share completed project deliverables with clients, employers, coworkers and agencies. Public-domain material, third-party rights and your own data remain separate from FledgePoint’s original content.
Your account allows two signed-in browser sessions. Signing in on a third browser signs out the oldest session. You can sign out other devices from Your account.
We save the accepted license version, its text and the acceptance date with your order. This license does not take away rights already promised for earlier purchases.
During the beta
FledgePoint is in beta and nothing is for sale yet. No card is needed for anything. When paid tools open, the price, what is included, how renewal and cancellation work, and the access period will be shown before you buy, and you will only be charged if you choose to buy.
Free accounts
Browsing and account creation are free. Your account includes free starter tools such as Field Pin, the PDF Signer, On the Record, the Nesting Season Planner and the Bird Band Resighting Reference. Creating an account does not start any payment.
Desert Tortoise Qualifications Toolbox: 6 months free
During the beta, the Desert Tortoise Qualifications Toolbox (the Qualifications Form Builder and Daily Logbook) can be claimed free for 6 months from the day you claim it. No card is needed and nothing renews or bills automatically. One claim per person. We will remind you before your free period ends. After it ends, you can keep using the toolbox by choosing to buy it at the price shown at that time; if you don’t, nothing is charged.
Form updates are included. If the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service publishes a new version of the Desert Tortoise Authorized Biologist Qualifications Form, your access includes the updated Desert Tortoise Qualifications Form Builder at no extra cost. Your saved entries are moved to the new form wherever it asks for the same information, anything new or changed is marked for you to complete, and you get a notification on your dashboard when the update is ready. Building each new version takes time, so updates are released as soon as practical after the new form is published, usually within about a month. The current version stays available to you in the meantime.
Your form and saved documents are stored with your account while your access is active. If your free period or paid access ends, editing and PDF creation stop. You can download your saved entries from My purchases during the following 90 days; the entries are permanently deleted after that period. Get access again within those 90 days to pick up where you left off. Download a PDF of every version you submit and keep it on your computer or cloud drive; PDFs you have downloaded remain yours to use. Earlier Project Toolbox and single-tool purchases keep their access until they end.
Digital tools are non-returnable
Digital tools are non-returnable. If you have an access problem, or once paid tools open believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@fledgepoint.com for help. This policy does not limit rights required by applicable law.
Account and payment privacy
FledgePoint stores your account details, purchase history and access status to provide your tools and manage billing. Your name, email and purchase details are shared with Stripe to create checkout and billing sessions. Stripe processes payment information; FledgePoint does not store your full card number or security code. Account and purchase records are hosted with Hostinger. If you choose newsletter emails, we also store your opt-in and preference history. Newsletter sign-up is optional and does not affect access to any free tool. You can withdraw it from Account → Email preferences.

Professional use
These tools support professional judgment. Using, claiming or purchasing a tool does not provide a permit, authorization or project approval, and FledgePoint is not affiliated with any agency. Consult the relevant source materials and project requirements.
